Sales Associate

Job Purpose

Responsible for generating business by soliciting new clients, maintaining current relationships, and maintaining a strong knowledge of Cole Video products. This position will target clients in the U.S. and specifically California. The position is located in Sonora, CA.

Description

  • Accomplish sales objectives by following sales plan and quota

  • Identify new customer opportunities 

  • Accomplish regional sales financial objectives by reaching forecasted requirements

  • Follows prepared annual budget

  • Initiate corrective actions

  • Maintain and expand customer base

  • Build and maintain rapport with key customers

  • Accomplish sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

  • Bachelors Degree preferred (not required)

  • 2 years of direct sales to customer

  • Familiarity with video production and digital marketing 

  • Track record of successful sales, opening new accounts and exceeding sales quota

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

Prospective Client Management

  • Properly follows sales process and effectively builds pipeline.

  • Insures personal pipeline is sufficient for success.

  • Presents quarterly to President and Project Manager on past quarter performance and upcoming quarterly sales plans with detailed dates and measureable action items.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly sales reports showing proposed, actual and upcoming forecasts and quotas as compared to budget.

  • Reviews current period forecast changes daily and communicates significant deviations to the President.

  • Documents activities appropriately.

  • Travels regularly to make on-site sales calls.

  • Must respond with appropriate urgency to client inquires and RFPs.

  • Communicates effectively with others using appropriate tools to advance business, team and organizational goals.

  • Constructively challenges the views of others and influences others in the pursuit of shared objectives.

  • Seeks input from others and uses effective listening skills.

  • Accepts accountability for decisions.
